Highlights:

  • Glamping Johnny G Style!
  • Live music and dancing every night
  • A day floating on Gerle Creek Divide Reservoir
  • A day on the infamous Rubicon Trail
Itinerary:
  • Weds, July 1 - Optional early arrivals the night before at  Yellowjacket Campground.  Guggs are in Spot 23.  It is 15 minutes away from Robb's Resort in the morning.  This might be a good option for those who live further away, or renting an RV in Sacramento.
  • Thurs, July 2 - Robb's Resort gate opens 7am. It is first come first serve spots, we should be in line by 6am.  We will have two campers get in line and try to save a spot, but that is not always easy with several campers scrambling for best spots. If you arrive before 7, looks for us in line.  THERE IS NO CELL COVERAGE.  If you have GMRS, we are on Channel 18.  When you enter the campground, veer to the left and try to find us.  (White Roadtrek Sprinter van.  MBL BAR plate)
  • Fri, July 3 - The Rubicon Trail.  Due to limited off-road vehicles, this will involve some light hiking for some.
    Dancing at night.
  • Sat, July 4 - A day on the lake with our giant floating islands on Gerle Creek Divide Reservoir.
    Dancing at night.
  • Sun, July 5 - Departures

Meals:
  • If you want to join in our optional group meals, click here: Meal Sign Ups (You do not need to sign up for their account)
  • If you participate, you do not need to host a main meal, just contribute a side dish, appetizer, or dessert.
NO WORRIES TO COOK YOUR OWN MEALS and dine with the rest of us in a shared setting.  We are a group of 10.
  • Breakfast and picnic lunches are on our own.
  • They do not sell any food or beverages so it is all BYOB and not problem to bring your own to the dance floor.

IMPORTANT:
  • There is no cell coverage.  So download off-line directions.  GMRS channel 18 if you have radios.
  • This is a high-end glamping experience, but there are no hookups in our spots.  There are porta-a-potties but no showers.  Guggs have a shower tent if you don't mind using a hose.  I have a shower in my RV.
  • Most details can be found on Robb's Resort website.
  • Bring hiking shoes, bathing suit, and basic camping equipment.  I have extra equipment so contact me before buying anything.
