April Fool's Snow Picnic
Always the closest Saturday to April 1

April 3 , 2009
Please RSVP with number of kids and adults by Monday March 29th.

The perfect day to act like the fools on the hill!

Limited to kids (or adults who act like kids), this annual family event is a picnic in the snow! Grab your snow tubes, toboggans, and sleds and head to Echo Lakes Sno-Park (now called Adventure Mountain) where we spend a day in the sun enjoying and cursing gravity.

Everyone brings their own beach chair, snow toys, lunch, and beverages. (We bring extra sleds so no worries if you are short on toboggans.

** Schedule of Events **

10:30am - LEAVE John & Michelle's to carpool out there. (Parking is very limited at the sno-park and costs $15)

11:00am - Arrive Adventure Mountain (Map/Directions). From the parking lot, walk past the main set of runs, past the trees to the next clearing. Far left (south) as you face the mountain. We will set up in the same place as before. I will arrive early to set up camp.

What to bring: Lunch, drinks, chair, sun lotion, sun glasses, gloves, boots, and waterproof shell attire. Do not over dress as it gets hot with the exercise. Layer! There is no need for a cooler for obvious reasons.

2:00ish pm - Depart Adventure Mountain.

6:30ish pm - Slide Show & Video Party and Pasghetti Dinner at John & Michelle's. Please bring your own soda, wine or beer.

Hot tub users : If you or your kids plan to use the hot tub, please RINSE your bathing suits in your washer with NO detergent beforehand. (FYI - You should never wash your bathing suits with detergent anyway as the water will reactivate the detergent and that is not good for your skin. Simply hang them out to dry.)

Sunday
